This picture is of my 13 year old son after opening this book on Christmas morning.
When I saw this book floating around on the internet, I knew he would love it, and I was absolutely right!
This pose in the picture lasted for probably an hour after he opened it and then he brought it to the breakfast table and quizzed all of us gathered (three generations) during our coffee and cinnamon rolls. It was so fun! The best part was all of us taking turns trying to pronounce the Massachusetts Lake with the absurdly long name! 
This really is such a great, interactive book. My son has always loved learning new, interesting trivia (the weirder, the better!), and he loves to share his newfound knowledge with the rest of us! Many of our conversations right now start with “hey, Mom, did you know…?” I would absolutely recommend this… especially if you have someone you like to share interesting trivia with!

Super interesting and fun book!
What a blast it was to read this! I’m typically full of random, crazy knowledge, so this kind of thing is RIGHT up my alley! I knew a good handful of the trivia, but a majority of it was new to me. It even lead to some funny conversations with my partner about the crazy laws here in the US. This was a perfect way to just relax and learn some fun things about this amazing country! (I’m super proud that I knew the name of the town that would appear last, alphabetically, out of all the towns in the US!) Loved reading this.

Great fun – clearly I know nothing about the US!
Great to have this book lying around and pick up now and then. The family have enjoyed delving into it as well. Occasionally we go to pub quizzes and our knowledge of anything to do with America is always the weakest link – hope this will go some way to change that!

The United States Of Quirk is carefully researched and jam packed full of interesting and unusual facts – many of which you didn’t even know you needed to know! It’s a light read that you can use as the basis for a fun quiz on a rainy day, on a long car journey, or just for a little workout of your grey matter whenever you feel like it. If you’re interested in all things USA this book is for you. I highly recommend it.
